New Year, New Record.

We will be heading south, to record a new studio full length record during the first week of 2012. We will be tracking with engineer/producer Scott Barwick at the Origami Lounge. We are looking forward to this endeavor with a great deal of excitement, and will be setting a release date sometime next year. We will be periodically posting updates here on our website. December 15th – Last Show of the Year

We will be playing at Kelly’s Olympian on December 15th with our friends from Los Angeles The Janks, as well as our NYC friends Jo Schornikow and Scott Rudd. This will be our last show of the year, as in January we will be heading down to California to track a full length studio record. We hope to see you before we go.

Tacoma, Washington

We will be playing a FREE show in Tacoma, WA this friday night (November 4th) at Lagerquist Concert Hall. The event is sponsored by KCCR radio at PLU. This is going to be special.

White Eagle Saloon on October 17th

We will be playing a show at the White Eagle Saloon on October 17th with Norman as a part of their residency at the White Eagle Saloon for the month of October. Also joining the evening is Duover. We are excited to be sharing the stage with such fine folks. This show is FREE.

Thanks to the West

We returned home to Portland last night after our west coast tour. Thank you to all of you who came out to the shows, put us up, gave us food, and befriended us. We are very grateful, and hope to see all of you again very soon.

Spring Tour!

The dates of our upcoming tour in march have been posted. Check them out under the ‘shows’ tab. Also, we have posted some additional Portland dates – including a FREE show next week on February 8th at the Holocene. For all of these upcoming dates, we will be playing some entirely new songs with some new instrumentation and arrangements. We hope to see you soon!

We have booked no shows in December or January. We are taking the time to stay hollowed up in our home and write. We will soon be posting some local Portland dates for February and some tour dates for march. At these shows we will be playing some brand new material. Stay tuned for updates and details.

THE WOODS – November 23rd

We will be playing a show at The Woods in SE Portland on November 23rd! Joining us are friends New Heirlooms (Davis, CA) + Shenandoah Davis (Seattle, WA), and Prairie Empire (Brooklyn, NY). Prairie Empire is the new project of songwriter Brittain Ashford, featuring accompanying strings and percussion from members of Harlowe and the Great North Woods. This will possibly be our last show of 2010.
